Civil Rights Pilgrimage

We will join the pilgrimage with other churches, led by the Commission on Racial Reconciliation in our diocese, to the Civil Rights Museum in Jackson, MS on Saturday, June 20. Thanks to our diocese’s Commission on Racial Reconciliation, the admission and lunch are free. Our church will take the van or divide into cars.
The Itinerary:
10:00 am Arrive at the museum and begin the tour
12:00 pm Lunch at the Cafe in the Museum
1:00 pm Service and reflection at St. Andrews Episcopal Cathedral
1:45 pm Visit the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home National Monument
3:00 pm Leave for return to Shreveport
